Yesterday’s Birthday started with a birthday run and ended with a massage, and dinner, ice cream cake, and way too many cool presents with some of my favorite people. Missing my hubby and dad tho!
It was great to be with my mom, Brock, and Hannah and their kiddos.
Each new Holliday or event like this has been a huge struggle for me, Willow should be here with me, screaming in the car in the way to the restaurant with her cousin Scout and starting in awe at the flames with her cousin Rivs. I should be cuddling her and grandma should be sneaking her little licks of whip cream when I’m not looking... it’s hard guys. Really hard. But having a family that loves me SO much and is there for me even when I’m quiet and moody makes it that much easier. This year sucks, but we’re getting though it. I’m so incredibly blessed. Blessed to have a little angel watching over us, and blessed to have a family that is full of so much love and so much to give. And my husband... I can’t even put into words how he soothes my aching soul. I’m pretty sure God knew this trial would nearly break me and made Jon into who he is in order to keep all my broken pieces together.
