Psalms 30:5 "... Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning."
I can honestly say I have been happy the past 53 days even though I've cried every single one of them.
Sadness may be for a moment, but ultimately God brings us everlasting happiness. I weep because my little angel isn't with me right now, but I am Joyful knowing she is in the arms of Jesus and eagerly waiting for me to join her for eternity.
Keeping an eternal perspective is much easier said than done, but will give you the strength to endure any trial. It is easy to understand principles when reading about them in the scriptures, but learning to truly apply them takes effort, patience, and long-suffering. I read about the wandering tribes of Israel and wonder how stupid they must have been to see such miracles and yet still falter in their faith... but how often do we falter in our own faith seeing only mans abilities instead of Gods? I now find myself being one of those "stupid" Israelites. Unfortunately it is so easy to do.. too easy... no matter how many times Heavenly Father has orchestrated miracles in our lives, we still fail to see things through faith filled eyes.
Another thing that's been on my mind lately is regarding each individuals trials.. are they handpicked for each of us? Or do bad things happen because Heavenly Father simply allows them to?
I'm not sure I'll ever know the answer to that question while on earth, but it certainly makes you think. And regardless of the tragedy you endure, God spins gold from the wreckage. He can make good of even the most painful situations.

But this I am sure of, many people only WISH my experience was their hardest trial.
So many are going through much worse than you are and they are enduring it well..
That helps me keep things in perspective too when darkness begins shielding my eyes from the truth. .
